All our webservers come with our commitment to high quality scientific software.
AMPSphere is a comprehensive catalog of 863,498 non-redundant antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) predicted from 63,410 metagenomes and 87,920 microbial genomes using machine learning. It enables exploration of AMP diversity across habitats and provides insights into the evolutionary origins of these peptides.
See: Discovery of antimicrobial peptides in the global microbiome with machine learning.
The Global Microbial smORF Catalogue (GMSC) contains 965 million non-redundant small open reading frames (smORFs) derived from 63,410 metagenomes across 75 habitats and 87,920 isolate genomes, with comprehensive annotations. A companion tool, GMSC-mapper, is available to identify and annotate small proteins from microbial (meta)genomes.
See: A catalog of small proteins from the global microbiome.
The Shanghai Dog MAGs viewer is a companion website for our study on pet dog gut microbiomes using long-read metagenomics, providing access to 2,676 MAGs representing 320 bacterial species from 51 urban pet dogs in Shanghai.
The Urban Soil MAGs viewer is a companion website for our study on urban soil microbiomes, providing access to 7,949 medium- and high-quality MAGs from 58 urban soil samples.
Web Bio Tools is a collection of simple bioinformatics tools compiled to WebAssembly, enabling sequence alignment and other analyses directly in the browser.
Macrel (for metagenomic AMP classification and retrieval) is an end-to-end pipeline for the prospection of high-quality AMP candidates from (meta)genomes. It is available for download or online use.
